The troop presented their project to the other Girl Scouts and their families who attended this event. This event was hosted by Keep Pinellas Beautiful. We collected trash from all over the property of the Clearwater Shuffle Board Club, which is located near the water. We spent a lot time carefully searching the mangroves for trash. We found lots of large trash items like bottles, bags and old clothes. We also found small trash items like bottle caps, plastic end pieces from cigars, lighters, and fishing line.

In total 230 pounds of debris was collected at this event.
